The Global Leadership Summit

The Challenge

The Global Leadership Summit has become the premier two-day event for leaders to connect and be trained over the past three decades. It has grown to over 900 host sites in 135 countries. Transitioning from a well-oiled legacy broadcast set-up to deliver a similar world-class online experience was the challenge set before Sardius, oh, and did we mention - can it all be done in five weeks?

The Wish List

The Global Leadership Team brought their wishlist to the table which included:

  • Integration with the Custom GLS Authentication and Payment Systems - Like many organizations, GLN wanted to know who was attending, limit the audience to those who had the proper authorization, and specifically know how the audience was interacting with the event's content. This is something that Sardius specializes in.
  • Create Unique Host Site Experiences - The Summit was broadcast live from Chicago, but the whole set up needed to be simulated for the West Coast as well. Sardius worked hand-in-hand with the GLN team to ensure everything went off without a hitch.
  • Customer Service - While the actual manpower to host customer service isn’t typically part of the service Sardius provides. The reliability of our technology combined with the built-in customer service portal in the software (which all Saas clients have access to) meant that it was very easy to deal with the few customer-service calls that the event received. Walking individuals or host sites through any problems was a breeze

The Result

The conference streamed successfully in year one, and year two is in the works for a very satisfied customer:

Sardius’ service level and technical expertise is truly world-class,” says Adam Scharf, Executive Director of Global Initiatives for GLS. “They bring a level of excellence and Kingdom-centeredness that really stands out. I can’t imagine partnering with anyone else.

Jason Shore says his company thrived at meeting the tight deadline.

“The reason we started Sardius was to spread the Gospel through technology,” he says. “That’s at the heart of who we are, and when there’s an event or an opportunity that is available to do that, it’s easy for us to make a way for that.”

This can-do spirit is core to the company.
